Business owners were asked to evaluate electrical service as a part of the eSynchronist surveys conducted by the Front Line Team since April, 2005 . Overall, electrical service was ranked very high with only a few businesses reporting any difficulties with power surges or interruptions.
SOIC has decided to include a study of electrical transmission systems as a part of our 2007-2009 Strategic Plan simply because of the importance of ensuring that the transmission infrastructure is adequate for future growth in the region. In fact, the symposium was a suggestion from one of the service providers .
Our goal? Making sure our region is poised for success when the opportunity presents itself!
